Math (10/19 - 10/22)
Today in math we will be working on the NWEA test to check for student growth.
No Home Practice
Science
Students are taking a quiz to check for understanding on the topic of thermal energy and energy transfer. Students that did not score a 3/4 or higher were required to complete additional reading that would take place of the quiz score which will be Due: Monday 10/22.
However,
For students in 4th period science, because of all around low test scores, will have additional home practice over the weekend. They will be reading 2 articles on Achieve 3000, which have been assigned, along with anything that they did not complete in class. They will also retest for this on their next science period. This is curtail because mastery of this topic is necessary for the design project that will be done in the next week.
Students who were exempt from the homework will have a note sent home to their parents.
